Whether singing is a part of your current or future career, or whether you’ve never sung a note outside of your shower, private voice lessons are an opportunity to work specifically toward your personalized and individualized goals.

For beginners, private voice lessons are a perfect introduction to the foundations of vocal technique and allow a safe space to explore a wide variety of styles and sounds.

For advanced singers, we’ll tailor techniques and repertoire to work toward consistency in what you already do well as well as expand the range, increase stamina, and add more tools to your singer’s toolbox to approach new things with confidence.

I also work extensively with singers who are returning to singing after time off. For these students, I help foster a fun environment with a focus on curiosity and discovery that allows the singer to rediscover their love of singing and explore their voices again free from the pressure or expectations that can come along with more formalized environments.

If you’re looking for something more specific, Vocal Coachings can be a great way to prepare for an audition, discover new repertoire, or work on preparing pieces for a performance without as much technique focus as you would have in a lesson.

Musical Theatre audition coachings can include any of the following: How to slate, how to talk to a pianist about your music, choosing the right cut (and knowing how to cut it even further), what else you should have in your book, what to bring / wear, tips for tackling nerves, how to film a self-tape
